Beekman Library 'Story Cloth' Depicts Dutchess Communities

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Beekman Library story cloth which represents the communities in Dutchess County will be displayed at the "Envisioning Dutchess" exhibition June 3 to July 2 at the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie.

The story cloth was created as part of the Envisioning Dutchess program. The exhibiton marks the completion of a year of organizational restructuring and formal launch of a reinvigorated Barrett Art Center.

It depicts a visual story about Dutchess County, its history, landscapes, architecture, communities, and neighborhoods.
