RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Bestselling children's author Chris Grabenstein will visit a local elementary school and book store next week to promote his new book, "Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics."

Grabenstein will first visit students in grades 3-7 at Union Vale Middle School in Lagrangeville, before heading to Oblong Books & Music in Rhinebeck, 6422 Montgomery Street, for an in-store reading and book-signing event at 4:30 p.m.

Admission is free and the event is recommended for kids aged 8-12, as well as parents and teachers.

His new book, which is a sequel to his New York Times bestseller "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library," which is currently nominated for 34 different state book awards, and has spent 38 weeks in the top 10 of The New York Times Middle Grades bestseller list. In addition, Nickelodeon has optioned the book to become a movie.

More than just a rib-tickling novel full of humor and suspense, "Mr Lemoncello's Library Olympics" is a game in itself, in which readers can have fun solving clues and answering riddles.

Grabenstein is also the author of many other books including The New York Times bestsellers"The Island of Dr. Libris," and is also the co-author with James Patterson of "Funny, Treasure Hunters, and House of Robots series."
