Sponsored by the Dover Teachers' Union, participants will run/walk as many loops of the one-mile track of the Dover Middle/HIgh School from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Upon completion of each loop, participants will receive a raffle “ticket” that will enter them for a chance to win a turkey and other items.

A 100 percent of the proceeds raised will benefit the Center for Compassion. The center offers easy access to services to those in need, especially women and children and the elderly.

Services include a food pantry where people in need can receive food; a backpack program for children to take home food over the weekend, and community lunches for families, individuals, seniors, the homebound, and others in need every Wednesday from November - April.

The school is located at 2368 Route 22, Dover Plains. For information, click here.
