FISHKILL, N.Y. - The Village of Fishkill held its 114th annual Declaration of Independence reading on a hot, sunny Monday morning, with a large crowd gathering in front of Van Wyck Hall to soak in the history.

Chairman of the Dutchess County Legislature Dale Borchert handled the reading, in front of an appreciative crowd.
