The concert kicks off at 8 p.m. Saturday at restaurant, 130 Route 22, and will feature songs from his new album that includes performances by music luminaries Shawn Colvin, Jerry Douglas, John Cowan, Vince Gill and Alison Krauss.
"I've been... doing what I do best, which is playing live in front of people. I've been concentrating on that and loving it," Pawlings says.
Since 1971, he has released 15 albums, including Blue Ridge, his standard-setting collaboration with bluegrass favorites the Seldom Scene, and Little Hands, his collection of children’s songs, which was honored with a National Library Association award.
Tickets are general admission for $25, no guaranteed seating and $35 guaranteed seating.
