With a cast of over over 50 students from grades four through eight, this two hour-long, family-friendly production will have showings at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Based on the popular book by L. Frank Baum, "The Wizard of Oz", is a musical adaptation of the story.

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical Land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, who everyone says can help return her back home. She meets some memorable friends and foes in her journey, a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart and a Cowardly Lion, who wants courage.

"The Wizard of Oz" is directed by Jackie Hourani and is open to the public. Refreshments will be served throughout each production, and souvenir merchandise will be available for purchase. Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased by calling 845-452-4428. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
