Foodies Welcome To Meet Organic-Farming Author In Millbrook

MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Local farming is the the focus of a special book signing event Friday at the Millbrook Library.

Francesco Matalia, author of "Organic Farmers & Chefs of the Hudson Valley" will be on hand and sign books.

The book shines a light on the region and features farmers who are committed to growing and producing food using sustainable methods, as well as the chefs who echo their beliefs and pay homage to the food they produce.

The event is from 4-6 p.m. in The Gallery at the library, 3 Friendly Lane, Millbrook.
