And though the one below isn't in Dutchess, its nod to Beacon is worth a mention.

The Newburgh Beacon Bridge, Ralph and Dave's, Verplank

This drink is a spin on the classic boilermaker using Hudson Valley beer served at Ralph and Dave's with Newburgh Brewing Company and Beacon American Whiskey from Denning's Point Distillery in Beacon.

In a pint glass fill 3/4 way with Newburgh Brewing Company's Checkpoint Charlie Berliner Weiss. Pour 1.5 ounce of Beacon seven-year American Whiskey into a shot glass. Drop shot glass into beer and slam it.
