Dutchess Sheriff Identifies Men Killed In Route 9 Crash

RHINEBECK, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Sheriff's Department has two men involved in a fatal two-car crash early Sunday morning on Route 9 in Rhinebeck, reports the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Dwayne D. Crantz, of Ulster County, died in the accident that occurred near Stone Church Road about 3:34 a.m. after a pickup truck driven by Jeremy A. Staats, of Red Hook, crossed over the center pavement marks and hit Crantz head on, according to the report.
