Hiker Suffers Head Injury In Fall Off Trail In Dover, Police Say

A man was injured while hiking in Dover on Tuesday in the Stone Church Lane area, according to the New York State Police.

The man fell from a trail around 12:26 p.m. and sustained a head injury, said Trooper Melissa McMorris.

The unidentified man was transported to Westchester Medical Center with a laceration to his head, she added.

The state police were assisted by Northern Dutchess paramedics and JH Ketcham Hose Company.
