Missing Hudson Valley Woman Found After Police Receive Tip

A Hudson Valley woman who went missing on Thursday afternoon has been located.

The New York State Department of Public Safety reports that a tip to the Highland Falls Police Department led to her being located.

A Missing Person Alert has been issued for a missing Hudson Valley woman on Thursday, May 11.

Barbara Savoye, 85, was last seen at 3:30 p.m on Ondaora Parkway in Highland Falls.

Savoye, who has Alzheimer's disease, was last seen wearing blue pants and an unknown colored sweater.

She is 5-foot-9, 110 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should immediately call the Highland Falls Village Police Department at (845) 446-4911 or 911.

The alert includes Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess, Columbia, Greene, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties.
