Northern Medical Group Opens In Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Poughkeepsie residents can get care for a variety of ailments all under one roof with the opening of the Northern Medical Group on Monday.

Located at 159 Barnegat Road, near IBM, the group which was formed in 2014 from local medical practices that date back to the 1970’s, is a partnership of Community Primary Care, Digestive Disease Center of the Hudson Valley, Grant Street Medical Associates of Kingston, Northern Heart Specialists of Carmel and Orange Medical Care of Newburgh.

The new office will offer patients of all ages access to the region’s premier providers of primary care, gastroenterology, cardiology, pulmonary and a variety of other medical specialties.

They will also open its own urgent care facility at this same location on Oct. 1 and are accepting new patients. Same day appointments are available.
