PAWLING, N.Y. -- A 3-D printer and science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, materials for students will be paid for from a $5,000 grant the Pawling Library will get, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

"Students need access to state-of-the-art equipment and programming" to become "creative, critical thinkers," state Sen. Terrence Murphy, R-Yorktown, told the Poughkeepsie Journal of the grant, which Murphy secured, according to the Journal.
