Roadwork Closing Route 199 In Milan, Pine Plains

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. – Dutchess County motorists are advised that state Route 199 between Wilbur Flats Road in the Town of Milan and Hicks Hill Road in the Town of Pine Plains is scheduled to close, weather permitting, beginning Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 9 at 6 a.m. so crews can perform construction activities.

A detour route will be in place, but motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly. The detour will direct traffic to use Milan Hill Road (county Route 54), Turkey Hill Road (county Route 56) and Jackson Corners Road (county Route 50) to navigate the closure.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
