Angela Tursi, 98, Of Pawling

PAWLING, N.Y. -- Angela Tursi, 98, of Pawling, died on Wednesday, Dec. 7. She was 98.

Born In New York City on May 9, 1918, she was the daughter of Antonio and Candida Miele, and wife of the late Joseph Tursi, who passed away in 1960.

She is survived by her four sons and their wives, Jon and Frances of Beacon, Richard and Sharon, Robert and Marilyn, and William and Joan; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her daughter, Maryann Hayes.

Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Friday, Dec. 9, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
