Claudia Lopresti, 68, Of Pine Plains

PINE PLAINS, N.Y. – Claudia Lopresti, 68, of Pine Plains and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died Nov. 28.

Born Sept. 10, 1947, in Mount Kisco, she was the daughter of the late Roswell and Martha Johnson. She grew up in Elmsford with her father, stepmother Lillian, and her siblings.

Lopresti spent the last 28 years until retiring working for VA Hudson Valley HCS in Castle Point. Over the years, she went from nursing to administration.

She is survived by her son and four daughters, Neil and Roberta Lynch of New Jersey; Maria and Ricky Fonteneou of Beacon; Deborah Lynch Cruz and her husband Alex of Pine Plains; Elizabeth and Tyrone Roberts of Georgia; and Randi Johnson of Pine Plains, 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister Rosalind and her husband Jim of Idaho; her brother George of Wisconsin; and two stepsons, Michael Palmaffy and John Palmaffy.

She was predeceased by her parents; stepmother Lillian; her husband Joseph; her son Anthony, her brother Lorrin; and her sister Sandy.

A memorial visitation will be conducted from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Libby Funeral Home Inc., 55 Teller Ave., Beacon, where at 4 p.m. a memorial service will be conducted.
