Dolores Dance, 84, Of Pawling

PAWLING, N.Y. -- Dolores Dance, 84, of Pawling, died Sunday, Sept. 25.

She was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Patrick and Margaret (Coady) Predham.

She was an accountant for the former Lovely Hill Nursing Home in Pawling for many years before she retired. She loved playing bingo at the Pawling Fire House and made beautiful pressed flower pictures that she sold at local craft fairs.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Dance Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Dance-Villetto and Elizabeth (Butch) Verrier; a brother, Richard Predham; four granddaughters, Deanna & Kayla Villetto, Desiree Verrier, and Sasha Park Dance; and two sisters-in-law, Judy Predham and Margaret (Robert) O’Reilly.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Dance; two brothers, Patrick and William Predham; and a sister, Margaret Goodin.

Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 E. Main St., Pawling. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Church, 39 E. Main St., Pawling. Burial will follow in Pawling Cemetery.
