MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Edith M. Cerrone, 91, a resident of the Fountains at Millbrook, died July 30, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

She previously lived in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.

Born Jan. 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (DeMaria) Anzovino.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Michael W. Cerrone, in 2013, as well as her five siblings.

Cerrone was the president of the Residents’ Association at the Inn at the Fountains at Millbrook. There, she enjoyed painting and crafting with fellow residents and staff. She devoted most of her time and energy to family. She was a doting aunt, loved for her playful spirit, enthusiasm and generosity. Everyone who met her, loved her.
