PINE PLAINS, N.Y. – Kristine Alexis George, of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, Jan. 7. She was 23.
She was born Aug. 2, 1992, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of William D. George Jr. and Karen (Ellgren) Bozick.
She was a graduate of Pine Plains High School. She will be remembered as a free spirit and an artist, and as someone who enjoyed cooking and music. She is now reunited with her Dalmatian, Domino, and missed by her dog, Marley.
She is survived by her mother, Karen Bozick and her husband, Jon, of Florida; her father William D. George Jr. and his wife, Johna, of Wallkill; three sisters, Kaitlyn Allen Fitzpatrick and her husband, Scott, Kimberly George and Victoria Roy; her niece and nephew, Ella and Emmett Fitzpatrick; her paternal grandmother, Joanna Waltz and her husband, Joe; maternal grandparents Heidi and Allan Ellgren; aunts Bonnie DeRoma, Tracy (Jim) Gida, Katherine George and Kristine Sodano; Uncle Steven (Michelle) Ellgren; and numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather William D. George Sr.
Calling hours will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 Route 82, Pine Plains. Funeral service and a time of remembrance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
