Maureen Murphy Gregory, 58, Of Millbrook

MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Maureen Murphy Gregory, of Millbrook, died Aug. 19. She was 58.

She was born July 13, 1958, in Poughkeepsie. Prior to her retirement in 2014, she was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. The last 23 years of her career she spent serving her community at the Millbrook Post Office.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; siblings, Kevin Murphy and wife Suzanne, Mary Murphy Campbell and partner Barbara Mika, James Murphy, William Murphy and wife Kelly and Anne “Resa” Murphy; sisters-in-law, Patricia Murphy Lynch and Susan Cassinelli Murphy; brothers-in-law, Christopher Gregory and wife Lynette, Wayne Gregory and Daniel Gregory and wife Linda; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Shorten; father-in-law, Arthur Gregory; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends, especially Debbie Barton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
