Romi Therese D’Annunzio of Valhalla, died on Monday, Dec. 11. She was 16.

Romi was born on Aug. 31, 2001 to Vincent J. and Jeannie E. D’Annunzio.

Romi was beautiful, amiable, and lovable. She knew how to bring a smile to everyone’s face. She tried so hard to fight through her illness and was loved by too many. She was a beautiful artist. She loved her friends and spending time with them, and loved telling jokes.

Besides her parents, Romi is survived by her sister Nikki D’Annunzio, and her paternal grandmother, Donna Robeson of White Plains.

She is also survived by her half-sister Laura D’Annunzio, her uncle Nick Ivicola and aunt Theresa Ivicola, uncle Chris Robeson and aunt Jean Robeson, uncle Scott Robeson, uncle Troy Dart and aunt Lynne Dart, cousins Alisha Miles, Justin Dart, Alison Robeson, Kimberly Robeson, and Steven Robeson and many nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her half-sister Lisa D’Annunzio.

The first visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains with second visitation also on Wednesday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
