CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. — Cortlandt Manor resident Vincent Scocchera died on Wednesday, May 4. He was 93.
Scocchera was born in the Bronx on Sept. 16, 1922, to Gennaro and Theresa (Turco) Scocchera.
He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of American Legion and life member of the Elks Club.
He is survived by his children, Dianna and her husband, Vincent DeGloria, Vincent Scocchera, Jr., and Margaret Nordone; grandchildren, Sandra Fragnito, Vincent Nordone, and Craig Nordone; and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Menieri Scocchera, and his brother, Tulio Scocchera.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, May 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., followed by military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion or Elks Lodge.
