Arlington School District Seeks New Trustee After Board President Resigns

LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- The board president is out in Arlington.

Steven Rossi, the school board president who lives in Pleasant Valley, announced his resignation this month, after undergoing quadruple bypass surgery, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Rossi has served on the school board for seven years.

The board is accepting applications until Sept. 20 to fill Rossi's term, which expires next spring. Applicants must be a district voter and a district resident for at least one year, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
