Dover Man Charged With DWI

DOVER, N.Y. – New York State Police arrested a Dover man on multiple charges Jan. 31 after he was found to be intoxicated after a one-car accident on Route 22, police said.

Vincenzo Simone, 44, was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and marijuana possession.

Troopers were alerted to the accident by a passer-by who saw the incident at Route 22 and East Duncan Hill Road.

Simone was taken to Sharon Hospital to be evaluated and appeared in Dover Justice Court on Thursday.
