DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. - A lengthy investigation into stolen copper wire has led to the arrest of a Dover man on Tuesday, police said.
On Wednesday, state police announced that they had arrested 32-year-old Thomas Brown, Jr. on felony burglary charges. According to police, Brown’s arrest stems from an investigation into the thievery of copper wire from a vacant residence last summer.
Brown was arraigned in the town of Dover Court before Judge R. Wren Abrams and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. He is due back in court on Friday, Feb. 10.
