A family has been displaced after a raging three-alarm fire at a six-bedroom estate in Clinton Corners on the Salt Point Turnpike.
The fire, which was reported around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at 2752 Salt Point Turnpike, started in the basement, with smoke and flames visible on arrival, officials said.
Numerous departments aided in the response, including tanker trucks. Dutchess County Sheriff's officials said at this time the roadway remains open.
The fire was upgraded from two alarms to three just before 10:30 a.m.
