A Mahopac man was busted for possession of drugs after Carmel Police officers found him passed out in a vehicle, police said.
Michael Gouveia, 35, was arrested Nov. 9, 2017, after officers responded to a call of a person passed out in a vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of cocaine, Carmel police said.
Gouveia was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlicensed operation of a vehicle, driving without a license and having a suspended registration and unregistered vehicle.
He was released on $100 bail pending a future court date.
