At approximately 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, state police troopers from Dover Plains approached Manhattan resident Aaron Cintron while he was parked at a rest area in Pawling.
During the subsequent investigation, police said that they determined Cintron was in possession of stolen license plates, a firearm and “large quantity” of marijuana. He was arrested at the scene and charged with felony counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of marijuana, as well as a count of criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
Cintron was arraigned in the Town of Pawling Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. He is due back in court later this year.
