Millbrook Woman Charged With Drug Possession After Traffic Stop

PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. – A Millbrook woman was arrested Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, according to New York State Police.

Sue A. Weaver, 54, was stopped on state Route 44 for operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. Police found a glass smoking device containing crack cocaine during the stop, according to the report.

Weaver was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, officials say.

Weaver was issued appearance tickets and is due in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to police.
