BEEKMAN, N.Y. – A Pawling woman was arrested Sunday on DWI and other traffic charges while driving on Pleasant Ridge Road in Beekman, reports the New York State Police.
Renee M. Pinyan, 45, was involved in a one-car collision about 11:35 a.m. Dec. 6. The officer at the scene found that Pinyan was intoxicated, police said. The investigation also revealed she was driving with a suspended license stemming from a previous DWI-related arrest, according to officials.
Pinyan was charged with DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony. She was arraigned before the Union Vale Justice Court and released after posting $2,500 bail. She is scheduled to reappear before the Beekman Town Court on Thursday, according to the report.
