The unidentified 15-year-old boy was arrested Saturday by state troopers patrolling the Drake Road area of town who heard the sound of motorcycles and went to investigate.

One of the troopers spotted a teen riding a blue and white Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike that looked like the one reported stolen in February, police said.

It was determined that the teen had taken the bike from the Millbrook home under the cover of night and rode it to his Pleasant Valley home, police said.

He was ticketed and ordered to appear in Dutchess County Family Court to answer the felony charge, police said.
