An 18-year-old Pleasant Valley woman was arrested Wednesday for criminal impersonation after presenting a fake ID when trying to visit an inmate at the Dutchess County Jail, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
The unidentified teen was charged after jail officers discovered the identification card she presented belonged to someone else and that she had an active order of protection involving the inmate she was visiting, said Capt. John Watterson.
The teen was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the City of Poughkeepsie Court on Sept. 25.
