Following his apprehension, Stoddard was charged with a felony count of assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, a misdemeanor and disorderly conduct and trespassing, both violations.

Stoddard was arraigned in the Town of Red Hook Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
