Troopers were checking out a car parked in a dark parking lot along Route 22 in Pawling with its lights on when they found Rosemarie P. Castillo, 58, behind the wheel, McMorris said.

During a check of her background, troopers discovered she was wanted on an arrest warrant by the Bethel Police Department in Connecticut on a larceny charge, police said.

She was arraigned in the Dutchess County Court where she was held at the Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond while awaiting extradition to Connecticut.
