Woman Caught With Suboxone, Marijuana In Pleasant Valley Stop

A 28-year-old woman was busted with suboxone and pot during a traffic stop in Pleasant Valley by New York State Police.

Princess C. Armstrong of Gloversville in Fulton County was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 3, by troopers from the Poughkeepsie barracks after being stopped for numerous traffic and vehicle violations, said Trooper AJ Hicks.

During the stop, troopers discovered Armstrong was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and 25.2 grams of suboxone.

She was charged with criminal possession of a control substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Armstrong was arraigned before the town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 22.
