Three capital projects are on the ballot Tuesday in Beacon, Red Hook, and Spackenkill.

In Beacon, voters will decide whether to issue a $7.7 million bond to pay for improvements to school facilities, including a new science lab at Rombound Middle School and a new artificial turf field at the high school. Voters can cast their ballot at Beacon High School and Glenham Elementary School from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In Red Hook, voters will be voting on a new 700-seat $10 million auditorium for the high school. The school said its current gymnatorium is antiquated and inadequate. The district has received a $3.5 million grant for the auditorium and will issue a $6.5 million bond to be paid out over 20 years. Voters can cast their ballot at Mill Road Intermediate School from noon to 9 p.m.

In Spackenkill, voters will decide whether to replace the roof at each of the four schools for $14 million, along with a new track at the high school and making the locker rooms at the high school ADA compliant. The total project will cost $24 million. Voters can cast their ballot at Spackenkill High School from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
