DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. - The Dover High football team welcomes a new head coach this fall, as Casey Lorenz steps in to take over for Chris Lounsbury, who was with the team eight years.

Lorenz and the Dragons are looking to improve on last fall's 3-6 mark, and the coach is confident his players have the potential to find success.

Watch the video to see Daily Voice talk to Lorenz and team leaders Angus Edmundson and Jaquon Futrell about the new season, and the team's hopes.

Dover is set to open the 2016 season Friday, Sept. 2 at Fallsburg at 4:30 p.m.
