Lineup for the parade will be at 1:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. from the Van Tassell House (98 Route 139) and proceed on Route 139 to the Somers High School Athletic Field for the ceremony.

The public is welcome along the parade route and at the athletic field for the ceremony.

Somers had two state championship teams this fall -- football and boys soccer -- and Saturday's ceremony will  celebrate all four of the school's state championship teams (including the 2014 state champion girls soccer team and the 2004 state champion boys cross country team).

Individual state champs also to be part of the celebration include three-time wrestling state champion Brian Realbuto (2009, 2011, 2012), and state champ Dylan Realbuto (2012).

The teams will be welcomed by Somers Athletic Director Roman Catalino, and proclamations will be made by Town Supervisor Rick Morrissey and Board of Legislature Chairman Mike Kaplowitz, who is a Somers resident. School Superintendent Dr. Raymond Blanch will close the ceremonies.
