PAWLING, N.Y. -- Last year's Pawling High field hockey team rolled all the way to the Section 1 Class C championship game, where the Tigers lost to Bronxville, closing a strong season at 12-2-2.

Veteran coach June Lagan believes her team has the motivation and the talent to have another great fall.

Pawling opens its home schedule Monday, Sept. 12, hosting Rye Neck at 4:30 p.m.
