Two members of Lakeland High School's championship field hockey team will be playing in college next year.

Caroline Cahill and Kelsey McCrudden recently signed letters of intent to play at James Madison University in Virginia and the University of Albany, respectively. The two starred on the field hockey team, which recently celebrated an undefeated season and captured its 9th straight title. McCrudden and Cahill both earned All-Tournament honors.

The field hockey team has not lost to a New York State team since 2008.
