Crash Causes I-84 Delays, Downed Tree Closes Road In Putnam

A crash causing delays on I-84 in Dutchess and a downed tree resulting in a road closure in Putnam are slowing down motorists on a stormy Tuesday morning commute.

The I-84 crash, which initially resulted in the closure of the right lane, occurred eastbound between the Taconic Parkway (Exit 16) and Ludingtonville Road (Exit 17).

Just east of I-84 in Putnam, Route 292 is closed both ways between Mooney Hill Road and Holmes Road due to a large tree down across the roadway in an incident reported at 7:30 a.m.

Back to Dutchess, a crash involving an overturned auto occurred in Stanfordville at Bulls Head Road and Market Lane.
