The Haarlem Valley, specifically the towns of Dover and Pawling, are getting their 15 minutes of fame -- and then some.
Principal photography is underway on director John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place," according to Paramount Pictures. (See earlier Daily Voice story here. )
Krasinski ("The Hollars") also co-stars in the film alongside his wife, Emily Blunt (“The Girl on the Train”).
Noah Jupe (“Suburbicon," "Wonder)and Millicent Simmonds (“Wonderstruck”) round out the cast.
The film is produced by Michael Bay (“Transformers”) and his Platinum Dunes’ partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller ("Ouija," "The Purge," "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”), from a spec script by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck which was rewritten by John Krasinski.
Paramount Pictures will release “A Quiet Place” on April 6, 2018.
