State Awards Nearly $120K To Harrison, Katonah, North Castle Libraries
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Assemblyman David Buchwald, D-Mount Kisco, and Sen. George Latimer, D-Rye, announced that almost $120,000 in construction grants has been awarded to improve the infrastructure of libraries in Armonk, Harrison, West Harrison and Katonah.
Funding for the Public Library Construction Grant Program was included in the 2015-16 state budget for renovations and construction projects to enhance public libraries and library systems.

Mount Kisco Man, 33, Faces DWI Charges
CORTLANDT, N.Y. – New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested John M. Irvine, 33, of Mount Kisco, Saturday on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
The defendant was stopped by police near Oregon and Aberdeen roads on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, police said. Irvine was found to be intoxicated and arrested for DWI, according to police.
