Job Fair To Focus On Careers in Health
SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Guide Publications is sponsoring a health career fair on Thursday, Nov. 12, in the township.
Job seekers in the medical field can meet face-to-face with recruiters, fill out applications and explore job opportunities for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistant, certified medical assistants, medical assistants, certified home health aides, direct care, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupation therapists, certified occupational therapy assistants and speech-language pathologists.

Chappaqua Foundation Plans Back-To-School Gathering
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua School Foundation will sponsor a beginning-of-school celebration Thursday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m.-noon at Kidville, 145 Kisco Ave., Mount Kisco.
Children can enjoy a Rockin' Railroad Concert, a balloon twister, art projects, gym time and snacks.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Children 6 months old and younger are admitted free. Each ticket includes an entry for a raffle whose prizes include Kidville classes and a gift certificate toward a Kidville birthday party.

Pound Ridge Library's Community Read Focuses On 'Unbroken'
POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Library's Community Read for 2015 is "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand.
As part of the event, there will be two movie screenings. The first will be the movie version of the book, directed by Angelina Jolie, on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. The second, on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m., will be "Unbroken: Special Features." Light refreshments will be served at each screening.
Other events will include World War II Songs & Stories Concert on Friday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. and a panel discussion of the book on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
