Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Woman Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree On Southern State Parkway A Long Island woman was killed when her car crashed into a tree on the Southern State Parkway overnight, state police said. It happened on Monday, July 13, at approximately 2 a.m.,  on the eastbound side in the area of exit 19S, in Hempstead.  Taeri Kim, 31, of East Meadow, was driving a 2015 Honda Accord when she lost control of the vehicle, striking the tree on the right shoulder, causing the vehicle to overturn, according to state police.  Kim was transported to Nassau University Medical where she succumbed to her injuries, according to police.

It happened on Saturday, July 11 in Ulster County at about 3:45 a.m. on Route 9W and North Riverside Road in the town of Lloyd. An investigation revealed that Orange County resident Leon P. Two lanes that were closed have reopened after a serious crash on a stretch of I-684.  The crash, reported around 3:15 p.m. Monday, July 13, happened on the southbound side near Exit 8 Hardscrabble Road (Route 138) in Croton Falls.
