Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Nassau County Man Found Unresponsive In Pool At Long Island Home An investigation is underway after a man was found unresponsive in a pool on Long Island.Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct police officers responded to a Stony Brook home on Harmon Court at approximately 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5 after Anthony Leo, 78, of Freeport, was found unresponsive in a pool outside the residence. Leo was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Man Accused Of Setting Fire To Long Island Hotel A man has been charged with arson after police say he set fire to a Long Island hotel.  Suffolk County Police say Raymond Pond, 50, started the fire inside the Rodeway Inn in Huntington Station, located at 270 West Jericho Turnpike, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4. 21-Year-Old Killed, Two Injured In Shooting At Long Island Home Three people were shot, one fatally, in an overnight incident at a Long Island home. It happened on Saturday, July 4 at about 11:15 p.m. in North Massapequa. According to Nassau County Police detectives, units responded to West Drive for a radio assignment for shots fired.  Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims had been shot by an unknown individual.  A 21-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  Two other victims, both men, were transported via private auto to a local hospital.
