Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The incident happened Saturday, July 4 at approximately 10:05 p.m. in Port Jefferson Station. Man, Woman Injured After Being Struck By Lightning In Westchester A man was critically injured and a woman suffered minor injuries after being struck by lightning in Westchester. The two were sitting under a tree in Port Chester at Lyon Park when the severe storms swept through the area on Friday, July 3. ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Palisades Parkway The identity has been released of a man found dead on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. State Police and the Rockland Sheriff's Office responded on Friday, July 3 at approximately 11:15 p.m. to a report of a body found in the southbound lanes of the parkway near exit 12 in the town of Pomona. Body Found On Palisades Parkway Click here for an updated story: ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Palisades Parkway A body was found along the Palisades Interstate Parkway overnight in Rockland County. The body was discovered on the southbound side near Exit 12 in Pomona at around 11 p.m. Friday, July 3. State police closed all lanes during the subsequent investigation that lasted for several hours. The Rockland County Sheriff's Office also responded.
