Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Body Found On Palisades Parkway Click here for an updated story: ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Palisades Parkway A body was found along the Palisades Interstate Parkway overnight in Rockland County. The body was discovered on the southbound side near Exit 12 in Pomona at around 11 p.m. Friday, July 3. State police closed all lanes during the subsequent investigation that lasted for several hours. The Rockland County Sheriff's Office also responded. ID Released For Long Island Man Fatally Stabbed During Argument The name of the victim of a fatal stabbing on Long Island in which the suspect is at large has been released. Ir happened on Sunday, June 28 at 9 p.m. in Hempstead. According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 49-year-old man, now identified as Andre Garry, of West Hempstead, was walking on Fulton Avenue at the corner of Terrace Avenue when he was stabbed by an unknown man after a verbal altercation. 74-Year-Old Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child, State Police Say A 74-year-old man has been accused of sexually abusing a child, state police announced. A search warrant was executed at the residence of Vincent Ferris on Thursday, July 2 after an investigation regarding criminal sex acts allegedly committed by Vincent E. Ferris, of Stanford, against a victim under the age of 17. Ferris was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sex act, a Class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. Man Arrested In Connection To Racially Charged Incident At Stamford Marina A man has been arrested in connection to a racially charged incident at an area marina. The Stamford Police Department announced on Friday morning, July 3 that 56-year-old Steven Michael Dudek, has been charged with the following: four counts of second-degree assault, intimidation based on bigotry, first-degree bias, and second-degree falsely reporting an incident. Suspect Nabbed In Cold Case Murder Of Fast-Food Restaurant Worker A suspect has been apprehended in the cold case murder of an overnight worker at a fast-food restaurant in the area.
