Putnam Sheriff Schedules Town Hall Meetings

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department wants to know what concerns you in your community, and how they can better serve the people they are tasked with protecting.

Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley announced that his department will be hosting a pair of Town Hall meetings, seeking to find out how they can better address the needs of the community.

The first Town Hall Meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Old VFW Hall on Kemble Avenue in Cold Spring. The second will be held a week later at the same time, on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Bureau of Emergency Services Auditorium on Old Route 6 in Carmel.

Langley will be joined at both events by Undersheriff Michael Corrigan, as well as Capt. James Babcock, Capt. Kevin Cherverko, Capt. Jon Jennings, Capt. Lisa Ortolano and Capt. Harry Tompkins. Putnam County Sheriff's Lt. Sheila Hanley will also be on hand for the Carmel event..
