Potik, age 28, of Wappingers Falls, was sentenced on Friday, Aug. 20 for the incident which took place on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, just blocks away from a primary school, leading to a school lockdown in Red Hook. Potik, who pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder, as well as two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies. Crash Kills 42-Year-Old In Fairfield County Police are investigating a crash that killed a 42-year-old in Fairfield County. The crash, between a Suzuki GSR motorcycle and a Toyota Camry, took place around midnight on Sunday, Aug. 22 on Stratford Avenue and East Main Street in Bridgeport. According to Capt. Steven Lougal of the Bridgeport Police, a Suzuki GSR motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry, causing serve injuries to the motorcyclist, Donald Fountain, who died from his injuries.
